About Benjamin
Ben is originally from Indiana and has pursued a career as a video editor since high school. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Video Production with a minor in Film from Ball State University before moving to Los Angeles to follow his passion.
Starting as a Production Assistant at Chainsaw, Ben quickly advanced to Assistant Editor, gaining valuable technical experience working on reality television and award shows like American Idol and the Academy Awards. He later joined Mocean, a post-production house specializing in film and television advertising, where he honed his skills on a variety of editing platforms and took on leadership roles.
Promoted to full-time Editor in 2017, Ben worked on a broad range of projects including trailers, TV spots, bumpers, and sizzles for major studios such as Marvel, Pixar, Warner Brothers, and Paramount.
Ben took a meaningful step into the scripted film and television world, fueled by his longtime passion as a film lover. This move allowed him to deepen his craft and explore new dimensions of visual narrative. Most recently, he’s been focused on cutting trailers and promos for leading video game studios like Blizzard and Konami.
Ben’s work is defined by creativity, problem-solving, and a commitment to excellence. He has been a member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild since 2015 and is a Promax Gold Award winner.
